Latest news from the Project – 5 October 2011

What’s happening? Summer is over, so back to the term-time programme we go. A few things that may interest you…

FOOTBALL – Thursday nights from 7-9pm (we travel over to Gresham’s sports hall and have a few games against each over. We play some competitive but respectful football) £1.50 a session.

BTEC SPORT AND ACTIVE LEISURE – this is a btec diploma in sport and active leisure. It has only just started, but places are still available. Give Julie a ring on 01263 710918 if interested.

NEW VOLUNTEER – we have a new friendly face on the team, who will be here every Thursday evening. I hear she is quite good with arts and crafts!

PANTOMINE – members of the HYP will be planning a pantomime, and will be performing at Gresham’s Theatre

MUSIC SESSIONS – the first Tuesday of every month we have a music session, which anyone can be a part of.

DURING HALF-TERM

We are planning a trip to the Natural History Museum in London, which should be interesting.

We are also planning some off-road biking. If you are interested in any of the above, then please ring Julie on 01263 710918.

Speak again soon,
Joseph Shade.
