We were delighted to gain recognition in parliament from MP Duncan Baker for our work with the North Norfolk Young Carers group. We are proud of the work we do to support this vulnerable group, and grateful to recieve this recognition.

Summer Fun for Young Carers!


Mamma Mia! Have you ever tried to make your own pasta from scratch?

After much kneading and rolling through a traditional pasta machine, our young people created a smooth and silky dough and turned it into a delicious lasagne. They tried a Jamie Oliver recipe using 600g flour and six eggs. They found it much richer and tastier than dried pasta, but dried pasta is cheaper and much quicker to prepare. A Pinch of Salt?

HYP’s Young Carers Group headed off to Blakeney to enjoy an evening in the great outdoors catching Gillie crabs. The best bait was bacon and the record catch was 26 crabs! The group then took great care to release our ‘pinchy friends’ safely back to their home. We love Blakeney Quay!


Thanks for the planks!

The young people of Holt Youth Project would like to give a huge shout out to the great guys from Total Home & Garden Services who generously gave of their time and materials to build a sturdy fence to secure our allotment.
